Found this spot in Henrietta. Friendly service and clean establishment. I ordered Jerk chicken bowl was very good.great portion. Would definitely recommend. They have lunch pricing of $9.99 11-1pm .
Just experienced twist for the first time.. The OX tail was unreal! Jerk chicken was phenomenal and I really enjoyed the curry goat! This was my first run in with Jamaican food and I was not disappointed! 10/10 for what we ordered! We will be back to try more!
Food was fantastic and the gentleman behind the counter was great! He couldn’t have fit more food in my plate. The oxtails were great, can’t wait to go back and try the curry goat!
Amazing place to go!! The staff is on point as soon as you walk through the door. You feel like you been going there forever!! All the food is great! The oxtails are a must have the finest in the ROC!! Only thing I have not tried yet is the fried chicken. That's because I have my go to bowls. Oxtail, Curry goat, Curry chicken, and the BBQ jerk chicken!! So stop down. Make sure to loosen your belt cause you are going to eat like royalty
I got the curry chicken bowl, which happened to be the lunch special so I think it was $9.95. Good size portion. Chicken was a little overcooked, but great flavor. They were extremely friendly and I will definitely be going back! I went back and got the jerk chicken lunch special and it was very good! Perfect amount of heat.
I'm highly satisfied with my Jerk Chicken Bowl. I couldn't believe the huge portion size and price of it. You're definitely going to get your money's worth and then some. This is now one of my favorite spots. See you all soon
Flavor overload in the best way possible Twist Jamaica Grill seriously brought the heat and the comfort. I got a combo plate with oxtail, jerk chicken, rice and peas, cabbage, and mac & cheese — and every single bite was a flavor bomb. The oxtail was fall-off-the-bone tender, the jerk had the perfect kick, and the cabbage added that balance of tang and soul. Paired it with a cold Jamaican Pineapple soda and honestly, I could’ve stayed there all afternoon. Great portions, fair prices, and real-deal Caribbean vibes. You can taste the love in the cooking. This spot is officially on my must-return list. Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic Jamaican food done right!
Service was great. I ordered oxtail w/ rice and peas. I loved the cabbage, it was well seasoned. The small fried dumpling was so cute and delicious. The nutmeg made it taste really homey. The oxtail was okay. I think if it was more tender, I would’ve liked it more. The portion was good but for $27?? Hmmmm I don’t think it was worth it. The rice and peas is what displeased me. The rice is long grain and looks like basmati but tastes extremely dry and flavorless. It didn’t even absorb the oxtail gravy so I think there’s genuinely something wrong with the brand of rice that is used. I’ve had a lot of Jamaican food in my life and this was not a good representation of the culture. I will not be returning…
